One White Dove will be displayed in a beautiful cage inside the chapel or sits quietly in a basket at the gravesite during the service.  The dove can then be handed to a member of the family, or be released from the basket.  We organize the placement and handling of the Dove with your Funeral Director, so there is absolutely nothing for you to worry about at the ceremony.

 

Releasing a pure white Dove at the service symbolizes the spirit ascending to the heavens. 

 

 

Four White Doves are on display at the gravesite during the service.  Three Doves are released first, representing the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Then the last Dove, representing the departed person, is released to join the other three.  All four Doves then fly together high into the heavens.

 

 

A basket of white doves is released and flies high into the sky.    Then a single White Dove is released to join the others.  These Doves are like a "Flock of Angels" to guide the spirit of your loved one home.

 

 

This armed services memorial is very special.  There are 21 White Doves released after the playing of "Taps" and a moment of silence.
